The CTEK story starts over 25 years ago in a small village in Dalarna in Sweden. This is where – Swedish inventor Bengt Wahlqvist – created the first ever battery charger to use electronic pulse technology.

And, thanks to Bengt’s technical expertise and perseverance, the world’s first ‘smart’ battery charger was born.

Since our start in 1997 our product range has grown significantly to meet the demands of vehicle owners, professional workshops and applications in many other industries. We’re proud to say that our products get expert rave reviews all over the world and regularly beat the competition by being crowned ‘best in test’.
